Letter from the Editor

Dear Reader,

Thank you for visiting our website which will give you all the information about The Plain Truth magazine. A magazine which as well as being a market-leader in unique in its field. Unique, because it's the only magazine of its kind that is free to our current list of subscribers.

Let me tell you a little about our philosophy and editorial policy.

First published in 1934 in black and white and containing a few pages The Plain Truth magazine began with a circulation of just a few dozen subscribers. Since then, the magazine has come a long way. With the British edition carrying 32 pages in full colour, it's now mailed to a list of over 25,000 subscribers in the UK and Ireland with a further 6,000 going to Europe and the Caribbean.

The Plain Truth is a magazine for people who believe in God, but may have lost contact with the church and religion. And it is our belief that there is a growing need in our secular society to rediscover moral and ethical foundations. We believe the Bible is a reliable, God-given source of knowledge which needs to be presented in a way that is relevant to everyday life. The goal of The Plain Truth is to inform and educate the reader on matters of both faith and conscience.

The Plain Truth, which is published five times a year, is an independent charity. We gratefully accept support and donations from readers and supporters who share our desire to bring spiritual understanding to a secular society.

If you would like to become a subscriber, please complete our online subscription form and we will send you a free copy in the post straight away. For your convienience, you may also read the text from the current issue online at this website. Once you have read The Plain Truth, we hope that you will agree that as well as being both interesting and informative, you will find it a little thought-provoking too.

In His service
