The Plain Truth is a non-denominational magazine, aimed at readers of all faiths – or none – to inform and educate them on issues affecting our everyday lives from a Christian perspective.
Our goal is to provide our subscribers with ‘food for thought’. The Plain Truth’s contributors come from many religious backgrounds including Anglican, Catholic, Baptist, WCG and others.
Distributed free of charge, The Plain Truth relies on the generous donations of its subscribers to support the production costs of the magazine. This allows us to send the magazine to many subscribers who are unable to give financial support due to personal circumstances.
The Plain Truth provides its readers with a balanced ‘spiritual diet’. Published five times a year, The Plain Truth addresses topics such as family relationships; care of our environment; depression; preparing our children to become responsible members of society and many similar topics from a Christian perspective. Regular features explore the Books of the Bible and examine aspects of the Christian faith.
Currently, with a circulation of around 17,000 in the UK and an estimated readership of 40,000, The Plain Truth is a valuable source of information and its articles are frequently used as a basis for sermons and assembly material for many denominations and schools across the country.
We hope to be able to continue publishing The Plain Truth as long as our resources allow. We are always grateful for donations from our readers who share our vision and help us make The Plain Truth freely available to all who want it.
